Couturiers Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor launched their new collection called Renaissance Reborn today in a glittering online event. The Exquisite Fall 2021 collection reflects the expression of haute couture that draws inspiration from the extravagance and the flamboyance of the Victorian Era.
The bridal edits presented by Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor are vibrant yet chic and come complete with deep tones and elaborate embroideries. On the other hand, the pre-bridal and gowns look pristine and elegant in shades of pastels such as salmon pink, peach powder, blue eremite, green and mousy grey in muted tones.
Throwing elaborate light on the collection and the very idea behind the Renaissance Reborn, Anjalee quipped, “The look of the collection is very much contemporary, where Indian techniques, embroideries and textiles are used in modern ways. The flamboyant bridal artworks with a mix of muted and deeper corals coupled with 3D state-of-the-art embroidery drips elegance and grandeur of The Era. The colour palette for the pre-bridals is rather soft and understated that uplifts the glamorous Pre-bridal appeal. In a nutshell, it’s a collection that resonates with the magnificence of the Victorian Era.”
The trails for both bridal and pre-bridal designs are long and graceful, ensuring all eyes are on you when you glide by. The collection, Renaissance Reborn is an amalgamation of extravagant lehengas, shararas, concept sarees, and more in fabrics such as organza brocade, tulle brocade, moonga silk brocade and sheer silk, tulle, novelty crinkle.
The designer duo personifying opulence, perfection and delicacy in their outfits and have carved a niche for themselves in the fashion industry. The duo get the credit of dressing quite a few celebrities, mainly from the Bollywood.
