Designer Reynu Taandon celebrates surrealism with her couture collection Zuri, which draws inspiration from the nuances, shades and moods of the nature. The unique benevolence and beauty from natural bliss gives the collection a feminine personality, colour and variety…

Sharing more nuggets about Zuri, Reynu says, “FDCI India Couture Week is here, I am super ecstatic to launch my AW Collection ZURI bringing beautiful together pastel colours and embroideries with a plush and fresh vibe. The silhouette is crafted keeping in mind all generations making the collection versatile yet trendy. The nude ones are my favourite since it can be worn in any function .I want my brides to look elegant maintain the old world wedding charm in a contemporary way”

For Reynu, the AW collection ZURI was an exciting unusual experience and felt great to be a part of an ecosystem that is constantly innovating and connecting with larger audiences.

A traditionalist for whom couture lived within herself with the touch and experience, the year 2021 reckoned Reynu Taandon to re-imagined her sources of inspiration. From heavily Swarovski embellished Greens, Nudes, Pinks there will be Rich classic pieces, tone-on-tone Mirrored lehengas, Anarkalis, traditional Saris, Sharara and Gharara will make a statement without stealing the light off of the specifically Nudes and Pearl which can be worn on any occasion

The collection has been divided into three parts which will showcase Greens, Pink and Nudes. For Reynu Taandon, this season is all about taking a leap into clashing kaleidoscopes of colour. The collection opens with light and breezy outfits for the young girls in beautiful pastel shades which we have shown around a lot of flowers, rose petals, leaves and a dreamy look – we’ve played around with sun-rays and kept the look very close to nature.
This then moves to the intricate embroideries with pearls and Swarovski’s in Greens and multi-colors: shades increasingly preferred by the brides and families today for Mehendi, Cocktails and pre-wedding functions.

The last bit of our collection showcases a range in Caramels, beiges, and neutrals, which is a classical look – you can wear these in any function from cocktails, Sangeets to receptions, these pieces will go with all looks and allows one to play with different jewellery to add color of their choice.
