Walt Disney once promised that Disneyland, and by extension all Disney parks, would never be complete as long as there is imagination left in the world. Taking a cue from the same thought, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida has added a new feather in its cap by introducing the New Fantasyland. This is perhaps the largest expansion in the history of the Magic Kingdom in Orlando in Florida. Featuring attractions such as dining, shopping, character interactions, recreation and more, the New Fantasyland highlights the fairytale like setting amid waterfalls, grottoes, arched bridges, forests and circus big tops. The sprawling new area lies just beyond the existing Fantasyland in the shadows of Cinderella Castle. Some interesting attractions include Under the Sea journey of the Little Mermaid in which children can have an adventure packed interaction with Disney character Ariel and her friends on the waves.
Children can also have a great time with their beloved Disney characters. Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Donald Duck are also decked out in their big top finest to await their big break – and pose for photos with Magic Kingdom guests in the process.
